On July 20th you and I will have an opportunity to start making changes that are necessary
to improve the political, social, and economic climate in Bibb County. We will get a
chance to elect some new leaders. I am looking for candidates who are competent, trustworthy
and experienced in the skills required to discharge the duties of the office.

I pledge to support the review of all county spending and to adopt priorities.
The cost of local government is growing currently at a greater rate than the tax base.
This trend will lead to a financial crisis and must not continue.
I pledge to emphasize job growth and job stability. We are losing too many jobs !
I pledge to respect the right of private property ownership. This includes fair and open
hearings on proposed road improvement programs and any other project that involves
the taking of property or the taking of your rights to use your property.
I pledge to support the consolidation of city and county departments and agencies that
improve services and reduce costs.
I pledge to support improved communication and planning between city and county
governments. We need a contingency plan to deal with any future financial crises.
I pledge to conduct a clean and honest campaign for the office of County Commissioner.
I am after the “job,” not the “candidate” !
